These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Edific's website, services, and systems (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
By using Edific, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Edific designs and deploys document-verification systems, including but not limited to:
- Workflow automation and AI agents
- Data processing and operational systems
- Custom integrations and internal tools
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
3. Accounts and Access
3.1 Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
3.2 Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Service Ownership
All systems, content, and technology provided by Edific remain our property or that of our licensors. They are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
4.2 User Data
You retain ownership of any data or inputs you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this data solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
4.3 Outputs
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you own the outputs generated from your inputs, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Introduce malware or disrupt systems
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract underlying models or code
- Access or scrape the Service without authorization
6. Fees and Payments
6.1 Pricing
Certain services require payment. You agree to pay all applicable fees as outlined in your agreement or pricing plan.
6.2 Refunds
All payments are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
We may update pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edific is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising from:
- Use or inability to use the Service
- Outputs generated by AI systems
- Unauthorized access to your data
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that:
- Outputs will be accurate or suitable for your use
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Systems will meet all business requirements
You are responsible for validating outputs before use.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.
12. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Nowhere. Edific runs on your own server or VPS; it is never sent to us or a third party. That is a design decision, not a setting you can turn off.
